Canola oil?? Never! It is unhealthy! It means Canadian oil! That’s all! Coconut oil or olive oil are the 2 healthy options!

How do you build muscle on this diet? The beans? Do we need choline and collagen. I’m recovering from a durianrider sugar diet and it messed up my memory attention and I gained so much weight

Mostly I liked this talk and I DO largely coach lifestyle BUT to say “a toxin in the water or the soil can easily be fixed” is so horribly remiss I almost shut this off!

Great overall information. I in particular learned to get more beans and berries in my diet. Her advice would be an improvement from just about any standard diet and help reverse disease. I think the theory on olive oil is that it’s healthy properties denature when you cook with it. I prefer to drizzle it raw on some steamed greens.

  26. ZYSS - on September 17, 2021 at 12:24 am

Used to think Indian food was very good since mostly vegetarian. Found out India is only le@ tshn 30 % vegetarian. Within that. Almost all of their dishes are cooked to the point of overlooking. Many of the dishes are cooked their good healthy greens till they are almost charged, crunchy like okra or overcooked to death like saag. This is why they are now trying out fusion dishes which are then not Indian at all !!
Hence after researching, I finally settled on Mediterranean food

This is all well and good UNLESS you’re affected by severe intractable high impact chronic pain. Then, diet is important, but it’s absolutely NOT going to help with severe pain. And pain ages you!

Eat well and keep educating yourself, challenging your brain so that you at least have your cognitive health.

This lecture is very interesting and beneficial to me. I will follow through with my diet as much as possible. Many thanks.

I have had a Whipple Procedure/Pancreatico- Duodenectomy… subsequent Mal-Absorption, Ulcers, carbohydrate intolerance…have to take daily Protonix (Pantoptazole), Zen-Pep to help digest proteins, fats & carbs, constant G-I Distress; occasional phantom pain that brings me to my knees; & even with extreme care that food surfaces, temperature, hygiene, freshness, etc., there are still so many days in which I’m better off not eating at all, or having liquids only…Carafate for ulcers/ pain & vomiting; Ondansetron for nausea (sometimes works; often not) Pedialyte & Quinine to fight the almost constant dehydration, no fast food, no greasy/fried food (no more gall bladder) & monthly Vitamin B, C, & D injections to counter-act the mal-absorption/hair loss, dry skin, approaching osteo- porosis (wrist, hip & ankle fractures as side-effects of Zen-Pep— (but must have Zen-Pep in order to eat food)! Post-op: took Insulin 4 times a day, & although not taking Insulin now; the possibility of future need for Insulin (& Diabetes in both sides of the family)…
Chronic fatigue, arthritis, kept under control with gently exercise (walking, yoga, ice skating, swim or bike whenever…& Kombucha Tea, yogurt & FloraJen for Pro-Biotics…but there still seems to be so much more than all this, because I still feel so run down & struggle with feeliy like a shadow of my former self…also do nuts (pecans, cashews, walnuts, pistachio – though must be careful with those) cheese, fruits but can only take a small amount since now missing half my stomach, pancreas & all 28 stomach-Lymph nodes – so everything must be fresh, organic if possible… it’s sort of like being a giant baby/of having an extremely sensitive digestive system in an adult body….any positive thoughts, suggestions, ideas would be great. Thanks 😊

Can psychedelics ..meditation helps start in early age to build a habit, I think a research should be done with lsd and brain connections, my grand mother she is 75 dont even know who I am . She would eat healthy clean food as a farmer also be working a lot in Punjab she has no other problems nothing at all. Now thinking back she would never meditate or workout her brain like studying or reading. Meditate.

Eating organic food is a good idea? Junk food is dangerous, but it taste good but healthy way is mothernature and natural foods grown are best way for mind, heart and rest of the body functions? Safety is the best option? When eating food? Processed foods not so much? But eat some meat more vegs and fruits for health? For eyes, and liver? On example? Supplement drinks soda drink by itself good for bones coca-cola soft drinks bad on health if too much is drinked? Soda in a can by itself nothing else?

Not good: bananas, grains, bread, pasta, beans, potatoes. ALL these CAUSE glucose to spike! 😬 What is she teaching?! Bananas have MORE sugar than some candy bars lol. Potatoes and the rest of what I mentioned is really bad. Causing insulin to increase! Go to YouTube Channel “Beat Diabetes” and listen to these EXACT foods she is recommending, and how when people changed their diet FROM what she is saying is healthy, that their glucose decreased snd A1c decreased. People giving their stories say these exact foods caused their glucose to spike high and with all the carbs (potatoes, grains, pasta, etc.) they became diabetic. I’m just listening to this. No wonder people become diabetic. They are telling people to consume all these high carb foods lol. OMG! So glad I know the difference. Y’all better head on over to that channel! Okay, I see now. She says GMOs are ok? Not true. GMOs are POISON. Eat organic, non-GMO, grass fed Only. I see what’s going on here. I’m out! This information is Buyer beware!
