He’s ignoring insulin resistance and its role in this. Everybody ignores Round Up in the food supply.
Dr Jason Fung covers the insulin resistance in this but also ignores Round Up.

My friend’s grand father was suffering from liver disease from last 3 years. He moved to ayurveda and took medicine from planet ayurveda. Now he is feeling good.

Thank you, Dr. Worm for sharing this with English speakers. Lots of good info, squares with my internist and studies I’ve read. Best NAFLD video detailed description on YouTube.

Great talk thankyou. Reversed my fatty liver with low carb. Elevated GGT for years then CT scan looking for diverticular disease. Found fatty liver and pancreas. Was told it was nothing to worry about! Low carb, healthy fat, mostly animal fat but always olive oil for salads daily and some cooking. Had fibroscan to show liver now happy. So important to treat NAFLD as serious.

I exercise like crazy, still diabetic. The wine in food pyramid is funny since whole talk is about liver fat.

I wonder if there is a link between fatty liver and arthritis…

  15. Sende R on August 2, 2021 at 9:41 pm

Interesting presentation, but I wonder why he doesn’t just recommend people to go full carnivor. Why all these veggies and fruits and carbs on his Mediterranean low carb diet? What is the use of all that crap? It is not more nutrient dense than a carnivore diet and it can only do harm, because all these plants contain numerous toxins that give people all kinds of different bad reactions. Although I can imagine that his diet also solves the fatty liver problem, but it is definitely not the only way. Probably he doesn’t like the carnivor diet, because it is impossible to earn money from carnivor, because you can’t sell people complicated expensive formulas.

  16. cango on August 2, 2021 at 9:42 pm

fructose is a toxine for the liver, so all fruits are poison (unless avocado). This should be taught in schools.

  17. Peter Cyr on August 2, 2021 at 9:51 pm

After the guy talks about fructose harming the liver, his food pyramid has sweet fruit at the base. Go figure.

I’m here because I’ve had chronic liver discomfort for the last 2 years I’m 40 years old now 6-foot away about 190 I was very into bodybuilding and I was up around 225 lb eating extreme amounts of carbohydrates high-fat high-protein I really didn’t care what I ate because hey I worked out and I was in relatively good shape but I believe this was taking a extreme toll on my liver not to mention I was taking a bunch of bodybuilding supplements. I’ve since when gluten free cuz my blood work showed I had a sensitivity to that the pain in my right upper quadrant has gone down but it is still there it’s like a dull toothache all the time I still eat tons of potatoes and tons of rice so I think I’m going to cut those out and stick with more vegetables. I’m going for more work soon to check my blood levels again because this has been an issue like I said for two years and it has consumed my mind

If there is a slight redness in the eyes, there is pain in the veins and if vitamin E is stopped, can it be cured on its own? Would it be a serious matter? Answer the question sir.

I am still in the high carb PBWF camp (due to epidemiological and longitudinal studies such as AHS-2, the inflammatory effects of animal produce, and gut and microbiome considerations), but respect that low carb diets might be better for some who are insulin resistant and NAFLD. A quality presentation by Dr. Worm. Thanks.

As of now there are 42 likes against 2 dislikes.
In the face of the science (not opinion nor prejudice) I just wish the people who disagree would present the science which refutes the conclusions.
