This lady is right, but her and her family are probably those over active mind people who exaggerate and over react about everything and are basically high functioning insane people. She has 3! degrees, knows about physical health and suggests she is very strict yet is so far. It’s genetic.

I had issues like this as a kid, but for me it was easier to tell because I have a severe allergy to all food dyes. It causes anaphylaxis for me. Even if an amount is small enough to not trigger the anaphylaxis, it would effect me emotionally. It turned me into a different person

  5. MB Burry on June 15, 2021 at 10:57 pm

I gave up about halfway, I am not hearing any actual science about these colors.
It wouldnt suprise me if some have negative effects, but maybe not, learning about the molecules and specific affects in the body would be more useful.
And they arent all petroleum products, some are natural extracts – but natural doesnt always mean safe and lab made doesnt always mean dangerous

Artificial food is just as good for us as artificial intelligence. No more artificial anything…..back to nature.

Oh wow this hit me so hard.

  10. yuh real on June 15, 2021 at 11:03 pm

How can we live if we can’t even sustain the only thing we use to live?

  11. G K on June 15, 2021 at 11:03 pm

Captain Crunch Cereal has all the artificial colors you can think off – and they promote it for kids!! This is ridiculous!

  12. Karlin Waddell on June 15, 2021 at 11:04 pm

I’m extremely allergic to blue dyes! It started off only food dyes but now I can’t even use some eye makeup or self tanning products since they have blue dye in them! I’ve been medicated for ADHD but I’ve been taken off them since I’ve cut out food dyes from my diet! Every chance I get I tell people to avoid ALL artificial dyes not even just in our foods but all products we put on our skin/ hair!!

This is an incomplete presentation. On one hand we have a heavy person talking about diet, secondly we have a women who constantly reminds us of her degrees and education. The total focus of her presentation was on dyes and not the general trend that much of what is in food is loaded with dyes and so many other "natural" and artificial ingredients that were not mentioned.

  16. Natalie Yeung on June 15, 2021 at 11:10 pm

Artificial food dyes ARE artificial! It is unnatural and it’s bad for health, for persons at any age!

  17. Simret Sekhon on June 15, 2021 at 11:11 pm

This was really insightful, thank you

  18. Yam Yam on June 15, 2021 at 11:14 pm

Way too many factors unaddressed with child’s diet following+before dye removal.
I am definitely against questionable dye usage by companies and overindulgence/ indulgence overall by the people ,but this should be a paper and not a speech.
Good intro to the topic though I suppose.

Well when I was young I did have asthma and allergic to prawns when I was young. But slowly all these gone away . If I ate ice cream at night I would have non stop coughing and asthma symptoms. Slowly it stop my mom feeding me bit by bit those food. And I don’t know it strengthen my immune system or is it my growth that stop all of this . Asthma symptom is link you can’t breath every time you breath it feels like when you are so sad and sobbing and you have that tremble reaction and you breath only little air yea that is what asthma feel like. To me anyway I need a pump or something to lossen the airway. Anyway I had these symptoms I was hyper active too . Due to sugar. But I didn’t know colouring could be the cause. Literally all kid like colorful stuff. And a lot of food have color additives. It’s hard to remove complete.

I’m eating Red 40 as I’m watching this.

  21. Black Mask on June 15, 2021 at 11:17 pm

A great friend of mine died of Colon Cancer. He Loved Drinking Fanta which has almost all the dyes.

  22. Bailey Begin on June 15, 2021 at 11:17 pm

My parents found out I had the same reactions to red 40 when I was two. Its difficult to read everything I eat, but I do because I notice how much it effects me. While I’ve dealt with anxiety and depression for longer than I can remember, I’ve honestly never considered removing yellow 5 from my diet until now. Thank you for your talk, I feel hopeful in removing all the other artificial dyes and I know your talk will help so many others❤️

  24. Flaca .B on June 15, 2021 at 11:20 pm

It’s Soo hard finding naturally foods for my children in the U.S, my middle son (now 7) has been diagnosed with an sensory processing disorder, and is also on the spectrum. I Really want to cut out naturally dyed food we don’t eat healthy at all as a single mother after work we just grab frequently grabb fast food because it’s easier and less work. 😢

What does she mean by a difference in behavior her claims are very vague ? Although her argument sounds convincing it is not supported by any real scientific study.

  26. Kayleigh Jewell on June 15, 2021 at 11:21 pm

I almost didn’t watch this video but I am so glad I did

  27. Simret Sekhon on June 15, 2021 at 11:22 pm

They put it even on fermented cucumbers.

  29. J T on June 15, 2021 at 11:24 pm

In all sincerity, would anyone be able to send me some scholarly, peer-reviewed sources for her claims? I am truly interested in looking into the claims she made and the studies she mentioned.

this stuff pisses me off because i really want to eat flamin hot cheetos and takis but they’re more than just a junk food… what’s the point of adding artificial coloring when you could literally just label the bag?

  31. Duvan Vilera on June 15, 2021 at 11:26 pm

Excellent video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you heard about – Millawdon Enemy Foods Trick (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a good one off guide for learning how to detox the body from toxins without the headache. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my buddy got great results with it.

  32. preasail on June 15, 2021 at 11:28 pm

Great information. Too bad this presenter is not eating a healthy diet. She should cut out the empty calories in her diet so she won’t end up with a typical American early hospital stay.

I came to this video because I am pregnant and had to take the Glucose test and I read the label on the bottle and it said red dye 40. I was wondering is safe to drink this while pregnant and if not why are doctors trying to make you take the test? Has anyone researched this?

  39. Felix Weyman on June 15, 2021 at 11:39 pm

it’s definitely not a sugar rush, I had a really bad bad case of psychotic episodes/panic attacks even when on a ketogenic diet. it was azo dye, and they also cause inflammation.
I also really want to know her thoughts on caramel colors like ammonia caramel, sulfite ammonia caramel, etc.

This food is flooded in the hood ….

  48. Samster on June 15, 2021 at 11:46 pm

If you look up “do food dyes cause cancer?” on google it says:
“Consuming too much food dye containing contaminants could pose a health risk. However, with the exception of Red 3, there is currently no convincing evidence that artificial food dyes cause cancer.”

Type in “Does red 40 cause cancer” and it says:

Red 3 causes cancer in animals, and there is evidence that several other dyes also are carcinogenic. Three dyes (Red 40, Yellow 5, and Yellow 6) have been found to be contaminated with benzidine or other carcinogens. At least four dyes (Blue 1, Red 40, Yellow 5, and Yellow 6) cause hypersensitivity reactions.
Sounds like there has been hardly any research done on this, but if they contain known carcinogens, those are also known to cause cancer.
Sad to see that we are poisoning the children…

  49. William Av on June 15, 2021 at 11:48 pm

She is so busy trying to find an excuse to why her son is being bad and emotional. Of course taking away foods would make him change. Try looking at your parenting.

You are blaming Sugar Rushes on dyes. …
