20 Min Beginners / Low Impact Plus Size Rebounding workout on a JumpSport Fitness Trampoline

After receiving several messages from followers requesting a workout that was slower paced and more geared up to plus size participants, we have created today’s session. We have slowed the pace of the music done, kept movements simple and made sure there are no knee raises or leg kicks. The idea of this workout is to really allow you to become comfortable on your rebounder. Exercises are held for counts of 2 to begin with and then there is the option for speeding up the tempo if you feel ready for it.
If you feel you need to make this more intense then add in a light weight and see how it intensifies the workout.

As with all of our workouts, take it at your own pace and have a rest or water breaks where you feel it’s necessary. If you have any injuries, medical conditions or you are not used to physical activities, please consult your doctor before taking part in any exercise.

    I just bought a rebounder and this was my first time using it! I have arthritis in my knees and feet, along with extremely stiff hips – I’m really hoping that rebounding will improve these things and maybe even shift some of my excess weight after a hysterectomy a few years ago.     I’ve been doing this particular workout with you for maybe two months. I do it every other day, with yoga and small hand weights on the other days.     I’m very pleased with my progress. I started with ?Scott’s exercises about 3 months ago and then graduated to yours. I love the strong beat in ?Scots choice of music. Very energising. Some of the others I tried I found it hard to hear the beat and listen to the movement instructions at the same time although I don’t have any hearing problems. I do hope you’ll both do more of this kind. I am finding the last ones with non stop arm movements very tiring so have to rest them instead of doing the ‘military’ exercises. I’m better than I was so hope I’ll be able to join you soon. (I feel you’re watching me all the time so that’s why I’m apologising!)

    BTW what is the difference between the ‘bungee’ trampoline and the other one you mentioned? I don’t know what I have. Also mine has always squeaked but not in time with the beat…any suggestions for rectifying this as it puts me off.

    I was interested to hear that you were in Mexico (sorry about the midges!) I was wondering. I thought you’d be in San Francisco with a name like yours and I was surprised at how tropical your garden looks. I can feel the warmth too despite it having been very cold, damp & wet here in the UK. I’ve not travelled further than Europe. Love the dogs too.

    Great video! Love the music. I don’t have my rebounder yet. Sometimes I workout on the big outside trampoline and this was very doable on the large trampoline (with maybe slightly slower rythym). I had to leave out a bounce on the steps out to the side to stay in rythm.

    I’ve always wondered if that pulse is normal when your hands go overhead. It has always startled me. You’re the first person to ever say that’s normal and that it’s good. But I wonder why it does that.
