6 Figure Healthcare Careers NO ONE Talks About (No M.D)

Let’s talk about high paying healthcare careers no one really talks about. Most people are only familiar with clinical jobs, like doctors and nursing. These healthcare administration jobs are high income careers that can earn you 6 figures WITHOUT AN M.D – Which one sounds most interesting to you?

So many people are pushed into become doctors because people think it Is one of the best medical careers and it is a High Paying Healthcare Careers. BUT, you should never become a doctor for the money it is alot of work and very stressful. Healthcare administration jobs and healthcare management jobs are great med school alternatives as they are high income careers that can allow you to have a positive impact.

Here are TWO 6 Figure Healthcare Careers NO ONE Talks About:

1) Healthcare Consulting. This is part of healthcare’s fast growing careers. You start earning 6 figures by your early to mid 20s, you get paid to travel, solve problems, and have a true impact in healthcare. Most people get hired straight out of underground, which is why this is one of the best healthcare jobs with a bachelor’s degree. In my biased opinion healthcare consulting is among the best medical careers and med school alternatives.

You NEED to be passionate about the healthcare industry and have basic consulting skills, which include critical thinking, data analytics, presentation skills, and solid communication. These are soft skills which can be transferred over from any job, so you don’t need prior consultant experience although that is a plus.

2) Medical Sales Reps: This is another high income career, however it is more competitive. It is a sales job, which means you get a base salary + commission. You will work closely with key decision makers and you need to be a skilled salesperson. Most companies require 1 year of sales experience, which makes it harder to get this job straight out of undergrad. However if you get sales jobs and internships while you’re still in school and show a desire to learn about healthcare products you can be a very good candidate.

If you want to be in a High Paying Healthcare Careers that doesn’t require an MD, have people person, sales, and quick thinking skills, then Medical Sales are healthcare jobs with a bachelor’s degree that may be for for you.

I have a Bsc(Psych), worked in a behavioral clinic, and I’m currently in nursing school and am certainly interested in consulting, specifically self-employed, however I’m not sure how I can get started, more specifically I’m not sure what specific type of healthcare consulting is well suited for me (bc i understand there are informatics consultants, pharma consultants, etc, all of which I’m ill-fitted for). Any advice?

The Pincher Creek Alberta hospital used covid swabs as an excuse for me not to monitor my 73 year old mothers care; where 4days prior I had a negative swab, with no covid contact to the day of witnessing my mothers poor care with an IV, today!  She was convulsing and shaking extensively, very prominent.  Therefore, I asked what she had been given with her IV.  Where nothing for her muscle intake nor brain relief!
I had to persist unrelenting.  In order for her to have one adivan.  No further along, much of her shaking and unsteady gait, had resided.
This shows the incapacity of medication care and the means to cover up this malpractice, with doctor directive under nurse authority to hide abuse!

I am scared for my mom and the abuse she is to endure, without adequate attention to her right for specialist care and proper treatment.
I have further witnessed self inflicted pain that has seemingly become a practise for suffering and alliance abuse.  With my family abuser and my moms family doctor.  I believe these are symptoms of suicide.  Where signs and symptoms are used as a sign of mental health wellness.  And this wrong!  The source of poor health with the need for treatment, is denied and the actual cause is overlooked, as a means for nursing care comfort.

The Pincher Creek hospital is over runned with money making schemes, through over extended hourly wages, and low activity on the job conditioning.
I am appalled as a common regular community member, to witness such cruel and unusual punishments, with profuse controllive tactics.  To adhere to even proving my own incapacity for reason, right in the ER!!
My family doesn’t know about medical care policy and procedures, nor have many people gone to medical school, where common practise is a reasonable factor.

To treat the rural community in equal populous to the sectioned city populous numbers, like there us any difference in need and resource access, with specialist level care.  Is very inadequate.

And there is clearly a pattern to use personal funds for grand wages with long durations of hourly income.  Rather than, on site specialist appointments and consultations.  That would give the Health centre and Hospital care, appropriate exposure and development.

It shouldn’t be about the money. Choose a career that you genuinely love and enjoy with the intention of helping to improve a complete strangers quality of life forever. This is the problem with our healthcare system in the U.S.. we have medical professionals who are doing these jobs and could care less about them because they’re chasing a paycheck. Deplorable.

  22. John doe on November 12, 2021 at 12:45 pm

If you want a honorable profession and fool with helping people don’t be a low life doc be a street drug dealer .
1 you provide medication that works on pain , you help people not drain them financially on placebo fake meds .

9.2K likes. Being a good sales man on YouTube is probably also paid better than an M.D. Just like in the old good days, being a good "snake sales man" ,selling your own made mix medicine (still much travel with by horse wagon). Best con man so far is (just my opinion) is P. Trump. I voted for him twice, first time for economical reason, second time also for economical reason. PS. Yes I am what folks called the 1 percenters, and even though some tax cuts, I still pay a hell of a lot money to the IRS. Hell of a lot more than the other 99, still we all pay more than the 0.1 billionaires-they do not pay everything. DS.

  29. Theelittlespook on November 12, 2021 at 12:53 pm

My biggest advice for people who want to work in medicine but don’t know what to do: become a medical assistant. Most programs allow you to finish in 9 months. Once you become and MA you can work in fields you’re interested in. That way you earn experience, gain knowledge, and network while you searching for your “next step” in the medical field.

  42. Derik Aasan on November 12, 2021 at 1:16 pm

Medical device Sales representatives vs Pharmaceutical Sales representative in pay. Average starting salary for Medical device sales 55kish while pharmaceutical sales is about 70K. The commission is much higher for medical device sales than the bonuses for pharmaceutical sales . Both average more like 100k to start. 5 years experience and you are easily at 135k total Comp . Since the medical device sales position is more commission oriented, you have a higher earning potential.
