    Just to add on a bit about the section where I was talking about PPI’s. Sometimes these medications are needed, it’s not that they don’t have a time or place. If you have been prescribed these and you want to try and come off them, speak with your doctor first. Thanks for watching!

    thanks for your extra comment about these meds being needed…I was diagnosed w/ Barrets esophagus 15 years ago and have been taken nexium since then. My dad died from Esophageal cancer so I have to take special care for my condition to not deteriorate. Having said that diet is a HUGE part of it and I appreciate all your valuable advice .

    Derek, love how you showed us your car project! I’m a 54 year old woman, and regret all the time I didn’t take mechanics in high school, or learn to be a mechanic. I think it’s fascinating and way fun. Not a fan of super old cars with horrible exhaust, lol, but cars like yours are way cool. Especially rewarding must be to be able to fix and update yourself…awesome!

    You can buy a cream which gets rid of the grease in seconds. Soft on the skin and smells great. Follow-up with normal hand soap. I use it for working on my bicycle with the grease and when I am painting……if it helps. Love the videos. Fan since the beginning.

    Doctors work for Big Pharma. Did u know Bayer and Monsanto bought out over 78 food companies! Doctors treat diseases with drugs, they do not prevent diseases. Why would a Pharmaceutical company want with 78 different food companies?
    We boycotted all of them. No more Hershey, Pillsbury, General Mills, Nestle, Pepperridge Farms, Healthy Choice, …ECT.
    Three weeks ago we went vegan and man, how I feel now compared to three weeks ago, it’s like we were drugged by those foods! We feel amazing now and we love your videos! Huge fans!

    Nice. You should take her out for a track day (lapping – not racing). Drivers of all levels welcomed. We have them here at the Mission (BC) track but if you’re on the island you probably can find something at the Vancouver island Motorsport circuit in cowichan valley. I haven’t tried that track myself yet but I heard it’s great. There is also Area 27 in the Okanagan.

    So many people have been helped by PPI. For years I’ve stayed away from them because of the ‘horrible’ side effects I would hear from the internet, and I never got better no matter what diet I was on. After taking PPI my stomach started rebuilding its lining and my digestion very much improved. And now I got off of them. But we never hear these stories for some reason. PPI aren’t for everyone and aren’t supposed to be taken indefinitely, they are just to be used for a limited amount of time.
