    Point 1, carbohydrates aren’t the preferred source of energy. Point 2, fats are not used interchangeably with lipids, fats are when they are not consumed, once consumed and digested into the bloodstream they are lipids. Saturated fat does not alter LDL or cholesterol, no evidence supports this claim. Regards
