Too much water in one sitting makes me feel dizzy
I think the bean myth is more from that certain beans you can buy at the store are poisonous until cooked properly. So it’s not really a myth, just blown out of proportion.
if only the food companies processed the food in a way that is healthy . by removing carbs , not gluten nor fat nor calories

I am so glad you talked about meat. I’m so sick of this vegan movement. Most of the time people who go vegan feel better because they cut out bad foods. There’s some who go vegan but still eat a lot of carbs. You’re defeating the purpose.
That is bad science. Coffee is a diuretic, but it doesn’t really make you need the toilet any more than the same volume of liquid in tea or just plain water. It does cause a slight increase in water loss, but this is marginal compared to the volume you’re consuming.
This misinformation is what Dietitians are meant to be fighting against.
I may not physically need milk but mentally it’s needed!

Myth 5. That was the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.
I never met a potato that I didn’t like. LOL
I feel like while the scientific research advances by the day the public understanding of nutriotional science is going backwards or at least stays the same. There is so much corruption in the food sector that no ordinary person can see through it without really doing some proper research on their own.
Most of the people who actually have a proper scientific understanding and have read the literature will tell you the same actual facts about nutrition but then there are people with no scientific background who will just decide what is the best diet in their opinion and will just propagate that to the public. All the companies that try to make their processed food "sound" healthy are yet another problem that’s been around for such a long time already.
It is really frustrating to watch.

B12 is not found in meat naturally
It’s injected to them and it’s commonly used as supportive treatment and appetite stimulant for sick or convalescing animals so there you go
When I was in college, we had to pick a topic to write a short essay on for our English class. I picked why milk is bad for you. In the research, I uncovered a lot of stuff I never knew.
Parmesan is not totally lactose free. It’s actually about 2%. For a lot of lactose intolerant people, they can still eat it, but there are people who can’t handle lactose in any capacity that will still get sick from it.
Animals flesh is fortified with B12 as are many animal substitutes. As you get older, you may lose the ability to metabolize B12 efficiently, so it’s always a good idea to take a B12 supplement.

I always wince when people describe "breakfast". The word itself describes what you eat first after the extended sleeping interval where you litterally cannot eat; you break that fast. So, you can eat "breakfast" at 8p if your schedule is structured as such.

Quality of food is more important than quantity. Raw milk far more healthy (depending on what the cow/goat/sheep eats) than pasteurized milk. Organically grown fruits and veggies higher quality than conventional because of the lack of agrochemicals used to grow them. Meat/animal foods is an essential part of any diet. Plant-based or vegan diet occurs nowhere in History. It is only due to modern logistics of grocery stores, etc. that anyone can maintain a vegan diet because plant nutrients have low bioavailability to humans and require a high quantity of intake. Nutrients in animal foods/meat are highly bioavailable and require only a moderate intake. Fruits and veggies are fine seasonally but shouldn’t be the focus of any diet for optimal health.

One of the greatest myths as well as scams, was the removal of saturated fats from the American diet. Sat fats served a function, they create the feeling of satiety and their removal from the diet and subsequently replaced with by sugar effectively turned foods into essentially an addictive drug and sugar as most know is the cause of diabetes, obesity and heart disease which ironically that’s the reason stated for removing saturated fats. There are more people dying of heart disease now then before. The study that made this damning judgement of Saturated Fats was based on bad science, the sample size was too small, the number of other life factors too great and so on, that this fact alone should disqualify the study, when you then add the possible manipulation of data where certain data was discarded because it didn’t follow the trend that was trying to be sold, you go from bad science to purposeful fraud. But even if you don’t believe the accusations, at the very least it’s bad science.
Oh ladies, I am sorry i get different messages form all sides, over my 70 years I have heard the falling, Fat Bad, Saturated bat bad, fat good sat. fat good, bread bad, fish bad, milk bad, milk good and so on. All I can say i do not think nutritionists, as a science know what they are talking about, in two years it will be the total reverse of what you are saying. So just leave me along. I feel that the only safe good food is wet stale shredded cardboard, so no don’t I have no trust for this "science" so eat your cardboard and I will eat my baked potatoes.
Lol lost me at ‘if you spend long amounts of time not eating, then your metabolism doesn’t know to do its job’. Doesn’t recent research suggest this in itself is a myth?

Dried beans can be toxic if not cooked to boiling. This may be the origin of that myth.

I don’t eat carbs and I don’t crave carbs or really any of carbs.
Avoid MODERN fruit like a plague! It is true that fruits have loads of vitamins and nutrients, but the price in fructose intake you’re paying is just scandalous! Eat veggies instead. And above all – do not drink fruit juice – it’s void of any fibre whatsoever to buffer the tonnes of sugar you’re taking in.; plus, it’s pasteurised, thus has no nutritional value – pure sugar!
