Honestly I prefer calisthenics for upper and core as I enjoy it much more as I can learn cool skills like muscle ups and more but for legs weights bro
There isn’t any fat loss tea or a magic pill. There are only smart dieting and training. Agoge Diet is a great tool to start with because it gives you everything you need to reach your fitness goals.

I DO BOTH I HAVE DUMBLES IN MY HOUSE AND I DO 20 MIN BELLY EXERCISE AND 20 MIN ARMS AND LAST 20 MIN ARM DUMBLE WEIGHT EXERCISE ITS THE BEST

From my experience
Calisthenics is better for a lot of reasons
The freedom of movement, increasing body strength, increasing your mobility , targeting group of muscles at once, and most important bodyweight exercises target the core of the muscle while giving you the needed shape
You can still do both though, or when you progress with calisthenics try weighted bodyweight

Depends on goals. Kinda Like I prefer to look, move and be as strong as Spiderman than like the Hulk. So i’m biased towards Gymnastics/Calisthenics. Can have advantage in most sports as well, like running and jumping and etc.

Have done both , but to be honest here , calisthenics are not for everyone . Calisthenics require more progression and complexity involved plus learning calisthenics isn’t that easy . You atleast have to train for a month or two to do a proper form . Weighted are much more easier and they do not require prerequisite skills . Weighted gives you more fast results and the fat loss is much greater in weighted . The advantage of calesthinics ober weighted is , the body will be more flexible and even if you miss workout for a month , there will be no huge difference in your physique . Whereas you can see difference in the physique of person who does lift weights .
Both have advantages over one another .
But , calisthenics isn’t for everyone .

I used to do calisthenics but I switched to free weights because leg exercises are so much better with barbells
I’m so weak, I can’t do push-ups.
If I could use weights to improve my arm strength, push-ups would be easier.
Now what if someone is over weight and starts with callisthenics? And gets used to that excess weight that was on them

You know I used to not have money and really wanted to change and started calisthenics as logical, when I first started I wasn’t able to do even one pushup now I do alot WITH FROM I never dreamed of doing and today even got my first two chinups and it’s been 3 months and you know what why not get a dumbbell as well so I can get the most out of it, life is fun enjoy it and do what you like
Free weight will make you strong and make your body good,calisthenics will make you strong and flexable and will make your body even more beautiful
Bodyweight exercises are often neglected by gym goers, but they help train your body to move more freely.
Combining lifting, Bodyweight training, stretching, and miscellaneous activities will make you healthy overall. It also feels great to be able to do pretty much whatever you want with your body.
Cant I just do both? Work muscles with free weights and then use new muscle to practice calisthenics

for injuries part, I fucked my shoulder with calisthenics. Took 9 monthes to recover, after medication and physiotherapist, and Im using now weight lifting to get back to my full potential by targeting the appropriate muscles to balance my workout. good job! lol
