Thank you, this is a solid and concise take on important fundamentals.

I’ve spent the past few weeks designing a diet that emphasizes balance and a variety of nutrients, foods, and food groups. It’s been enlightening to just put in the work (totally nerding out, spreadsheets and all) and see what it takes to design a diet that keeps all essentials between RDA and UL while emphasizing whole and minimally processed foods while also being low-PRAL, maintaining a beneficial Omega 3 to 6 ratio, providing plenty of antioxidants, minimizing calories, respecting the macro as well as SFA:MUFA;PUFA ratios etc. Good nutrition is a great challenge, and important work.
