    I found out 5 minutes ago how bad a can consumption is.
    Sourced from a medical college. I today purchased 2 cases
    and went online to other zero sugar options. And found
    7-Up had bad Ju-ju. I was taking my problem outside for
    pistol target practice when somebody I hate yelled a new
    slander at me. ‘Which should I shoot first?’. Mulling the
    idea suddenly I was visited by Satan : Saying, GIVE THAT
    OLD FOOL ALL YOUR 7-UP AND MY DEMONS WILL WARM-
    UP SOMETHING SPECIAL. Yup. So, I holstered a Glock.

    I think probably every soda was created first to be medicinal but then they made them into what we have today not just Coca Cola,Dr pepper and 7up! I bet Pepsi and others are too!

    Lithium is a salt in its purest form. When someone takes it for bipolar disorder or rarely seizures, it breaks down into a salt working on sodium potassium pump channel in the brain. That’s probably why it was was used, the chemical reactions between the salt and other ingredients to make the citrate. “Lithium bipolar 7up” is a clickbait title. Source? Being a psychiatric mental health provider.

    My great grandad told me that the lithium citrate made 7Up taste bitter. After the drug was banned, it was much smoother in taste.

    In the United States, 7 Up had a major formula "improvement" about 2006. I took a job in Vietnam later that year and the 7 Up there still had the same formula as before. Two years later I took another job in the Philippines and the 7 Up had the same old flavor from before the "improvement." After my contract in the Philippines was over in 2011 I stayed in the same general area, more or less, and moved to the island of Guam, a US territory. And the 7 Up on Guam (as "in Guam" is underground) was the newer formula. I shoulda stayed in Asia! Bleah!

    Lithium is on the WHO List of Essential Medicines. It’s not even a scheduled drug in the US. It’s prescription only though.

  38. P A Carter on February 11, 2023 at 7:47 am

    It is now (1-7-22);
    And noticed that the grocery store shelves didn’t always have one of my favorite un-colas in stock:
    Looked it up of which about a year ago, there was an investigation regarding an health issue;
    Then recently looked it up again, of which a new ownership has decided to close down the 7up department…
    So if you are like me a 7up person? I am stocking up.
    The competition is ‘Sprite’ -basically both have the same taste and flavor.
    But I think the failure is not enough advertising.

  39. C. NoBle on February 11, 2023 at 7:48 am

    Lithium atomic mass is 7
    And P looked like a 7 ⁷ back in the old days.
    P is the 16th letter of the alphabet 1+6=7
    Pē meaning mouth after 900 bc. Weird

  40. Lumpy Dark on February 11, 2023 at 7:49 am

    I hate the sugar version but the 7 up free is great.

  41. Max Bracegirdle on February 11, 2023 at 7:51 am

    My favourite for mixers of any clear spirit (not clear tequila should go without saying) is 7up that I’ve shaken up and burped until there’s no more carbonation. Maybe a little mint leave if it’s available. Good, tasty, mixer and you don’t get a belly full of CO2 to deal with (which maybe only helps for me, since for some reason, I don’t burp) it’s the perfect amount of flavour for a cut while also not overpowering the alcohols flavour, just complimenting it. Lovely.

    7 up tastes like candy is this just me or?

  44. Sebastian Schumacher on February 11, 2023 at 7:53 am

    I thought the number seven refers to the atomic mass of lithium, which is about seven.
