How Do You Get Yours? – Healthy UL Physical Activity Sub Group in Action

This video highlights how you can increase your physical activity levels. A one-minute introduction by Dr. Matthew Herring of the University of Limerick, where he describes the recommended weekly activity levels, is followed by clips of members of the Healthy UL Physical Activity Sub Group demonstrating different ways to incorporate physical activity into your daily routine.
The clips provide examples such as; taking your dog for a walk by the river, climbing stairs (inside and outside), using the stairs machine in the gym, cycling to and from work and around campus, exercising at home using online apps, weight bearing / resistance training in the gym, and on the Living Bridge, taking a moment out to try desk yoga, joining one of the many clubs on campus such as UL Tabletennis.
