Omg I know this video was 2 years ago but I’m doing a fundamentals class rn in high school as a junior and I just had a breakdown from the grades I’ve been getting. Thank you so much for all the great tips, I seriously appreciate it🙏🏾
Yess your point about study guides is so true making study guides do not help you pass!!
Thank you! Thank you thank you!❤️
Thank you so much for this info. I’m an older student in my 40’s in nursing school and it is pretty overwhelming especially with all the new online and technical obstacles. Lol Sometimes I feel like I can’t make it but listening to this helped me figure things out for my learning style. I NEVER used to study in school for my prior degree but nursing school is not easy.
Thanks so much for the tips.
Yes can you please do a video on the apps you use on ur notebook as well. Thank you this also helped me a lot. 👍🏽👍🏽❤️

You’re so funny and straight to the point 🤣👌🏾 Going to start in January and I have watched soo many videos but this one was the icing on the cake 💕
Can you do the video to show how your power points look
So glad I found this video! Cause babyyyyy, nursing school is coming at me left! Pray for me!
I will be starting Nursing school in May and when you get the ebooks are they available on your tablet also or is there something I need to download for my ebooks
Girl, I got three kids and two jobs while doing nursing school.
I been on YouTube looking up nursing school tips, and all I see is these girls writing pretty little notes and outlines that must have took days- let alone hours.
The fact that you said we don’t need to write out study guides to succeed is such a relief for me.
Thank you for easing my anxiety that studying differently doesn’t mean you are wrong. I love the feeling of being validated by another women, especially a mom who understands those additional time constraints. You have provided such valuable content. New subscriber!!
As I’m like 10 pages into a study guide that I didn’t retain anything from

I need to know what the test bank website looks like
Just seeing your video ! Just love it! I’m sorry can you let me know again the name of the website you mention about test taking how to get rid of some of the bad answers ?
THANK YOU ! for a different look on how to study, I’ve been trying to figure out what works for me and still am stumped. I really liked the idea of using different locations, and for real making the large flash cards helps me sometimes but is also so consuming !
My school uses ATI any advice? I start school next week.
I love this!!! Thanks sis! You gave me hope ❤
I tried doing a study guide for my first exam next week but it’s already 12 pages and I’m not done and I feel like I’m wasting so much time. Going to try your method ! Thank you !
It was definitely the blueprint for me ❤️
First semester Lpn nursing student.. taking fundamentals I’m not passing the class rn need a 80% and I have a 73 point something🥲
We aren’t allowed to record lectures.
Hey I don’t see the test bank website anymore . Is it still available?
Okay so…
This is my first semester in school. Today literally ended our first 2 weeks. We have at least 10 chapters a week, powerpoints for theory, lab and assessment which are posted AFTER we’vehad class. Plus addition online resources that have deadlines. So… I went over the objectives in the syllabus. But then… I dove into the books which ended up being word vomit. Then created a study guide which was more word vomit. And there was truly no structure to what I needed to know, it was all just wayyyyy to much information. We had our first 2 quizes and I failed them both. And I’m still somehow behind on the reading.
So what I’ve realized is, everything about my approach is wrong. Doing the test questions where beyond helpful to understand how the questions are structured. I think I need to incorporate the objectives of each chapter while reading, do the questions in the book as well. My biggest waste of time was taking TOO MANY notes. I’m also a visual learner so in my prereqs, notes where life. But now, I don’t have time for it. Something to understand in fundamentals is the nursing process IS WHAT you are learning and applying to everything. You need to learn the ins and outs of that process as well as how to prioritize assessments as a nurse which the books do and will point you in that direction. Then go back to the powerpoint and focus on areas that I do not understand. I need to be quicker and stop trying to learn it all. Just learn what it is that nurses are supposed to be doing. I can and I WILL do this.
My teachers don’t be giving us power points
i did study guides, wrote notes, highlight textbook and all of that for A&P and i regret. thank God i passed but doing these things really wasted my valuable time. 1 week before exams i just watched videos upon videos upon videos and went over the teacher powerpoint and i passed. funny thing i didnt have time to look at flash cards, nor my textbook or notebook.
I use my laptop and pen just like you!! Best thing ever. Because it’s linked to my phone I can study on the train on my way to work
I’m in my first semester of nursing school and I did a long study guide for nursing foundations and did not pass my first exam! Thank you so much for this video, I used to do this for my pre reqs but thought it’d be best to change it up since it’s much harder material, NOPE! Def. going to use your tips. Also how many chapters do you go over at once when learning new material and how much time daily do you spend studying?
New nursing student. Your video was very help I’m too and southern girl Arkansas Little Rock. I was looking for the test bank website you where talking about I couldn’t find it.
I start January 4th and I’m scared lol
I can assess the testbank link but from there it does not allow me to go further 🙁
Do you recommend Test Success or Fundamentals Sucess? I will be starting fundamentals in the fall and want to make sure that I get the correct book recommendation.
Your method makes sooooo much sense!!!! I will definitely try it.
