The fitness app only really shows active calories burned, how do i find total calories, active and passive combined?

  2. Boney on April 3, 2022 at 7:09 pm

@Apple Support is there a way you can turn activity off

  3. S B on April 3, 2022 at 7:09 pm

My activity ring doesn’t work anymore. I am able to track my standing and total calories; however, even if I’ve down intense cardio for 40 min, it’ll say I did it for 2 minutes…

  4. Catriona McBride Gravatt on April 3, 2022 at 7:11 pm

Just shows off what you can do, does not describe HOW to set it up to do those things!

  5. Denis Lara on April 3, 2022 at 7:11 pm

My watch and my phone both say “to start sharing your activity use the fitness app in your iPhone / watch”

  6. Debbie Cakes on April 3, 2022 at 7:12 pm

The step calibration is soooooo inaccurate…I wore my Apple Watch series 7 inside my car on my way to work…and once I arrived to work, it said I’ve done 450step🤔🤔🤔…I don’t remember walking while I was driving the whole time

  9. Staynavytom on April 3, 2022 at 7:18 pm

My watch is not tracking my walking time or distance when I use my treadmill. It tracks walking outside. How does the watch track my walking activity? BTW, I don’t want to use the exercise section on the watch for walking on the treadmill. I didn’t buy nor want to use my watch for that level.

  10. Big Papa on April 3, 2022 at 7:19 pm

How does my Apple Watch know when I’m standing? I feel like I either stand longer or my standing amount is greatly exaggerated

  11. Amjad Abbas on April 3, 2022 at 7:21 pm

Will the activity app still calculate my calories if I have background app refresh turned of?

  12. FrostyVFX on April 3, 2022 at 7:22 pm

On my Apple Watch 7 it just says how many minutes of workout it doesn’t tell me how many calories I burnt. How do I set this up so it shows my calories?

Ive spent hours and hours, days trying to find a way to get this advertised tracking to actually work. If you are thinking about buying this watching, Just google "exercise ring not tracking" and see the endless people that cant get any of this advertised "magic" to work… Ive set my watch to 30 minutes exercise and had 130+ heart rate for the entire duration, ive been sweating my butt off while doing the fastest walk i can, any faster i would be running for 45 minutes, i was totally dead and i get 2 minutes of "exercise" on my ring. Ive had fitbit and galaxy watches and this is the least motivating watch ever. So irritating to work so hard and not even be able to close the rings. Do i want to keep being active.. No i want to throw this watch out of the window and have every car and lorry on the planet run it over!!!

It does not tell me trends over months and years.

I bought an Apple Watch SE a week ago but unfortunately, it doesn’t track the outdoor walk as the exercise properly. A few times now I have been walking for around 50 min and it has tracked less than half of it and the other day hasn’t tracked anything at all… My walk is brisk enough and I allow free wrist movement. Moreover, it has been recorded properly for the first few days even with a lower speed… Very disappointing and demotivating, I bought it to track my activity but it doesn’t serve the purpose 🙁

2:37 Thank You for this cause I was thinking you probably can view your weekly exercises on your phone. When I looked to view weekly summary on the Apple Watch I only got a chart. Can you also view your weekly exercises on your Apple Watch ⌚️?

Hello! I’ve been using this app last year but unfortunately in the middle of the year in stopped showing me monthly challenges. I updated both devices, unpaired them and paired them again but still nothing. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I am so exciting to get one for Christmas.

Before spending a lot more, I just bought the Apple 3 watch so I could get used to it. (I also only recently got my first iPhone–the 13 ProMax). Having trouble getting the watch to do what all the videos say. I open the activity thing and get "Sharing". Eventually figured out by swiping and scrolling that it would get to Activity by swiping out of Sharing. But, cannot find the swimming I just did. It’s really good at seeing my walking and flights of stairs, but doesn’t show all the bike-riding I just did or the swimming. The videos make it look simple, but with an old model even with up-o-date software on it, this is as yet a bit annoying.

My phone app isn’t recording any activity. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I don’t understand why it just stopped working in the middle of day Tuesday and all today on Saturday no activity reflected

  28. Donna Wilson-Eavestaff on April 3, 2022 at 7:41 pm

Can you see how many steps have been taken during a single workout rather than over the period of the day?

  29. Stick Jr on April 3, 2022 at 7:41 pm

I went for a 50 minute walk today and it did not record anything on my Apple Watch, is there a reason why do I have to start a timer I thought it just recorded you throughout the day without doing anything, last week I went for a walk and it recorded everything not sure what is going on

  30. Lily 愛 on April 3, 2022 at 7:42 pm

I have an iPhone 13 pro with the latest software update and I can’t download the Fitness app. “This app requires specific features not available on this device”…… I don’t understand

It is not showing calories it’s showing mins idk why

  34. jakryk on April 3, 2022 at 7:48 pm

"The green ring tracks your exercise". OK, how does it do that? "By tracking your exercise." But how does it do that? "By tracking your exercise." How? Heart rate? Entering info someplace? How? "By tracking" OK, what if I’m on a stationary bike or treadmill? Will it track that? Does my heart rate need to get to a certain level or something? "Try to close the ring each day." HOW? "By exercising for 30 minutes each day." HOW DOES IT KNOW I’M EXERCISING? "By tracking."

  35. IceTray27 on April 3, 2022 at 7:49 pm

I feel like the remote ring is for running and not for weight training

  36. Onur A. on April 3, 2022 at 7:50 pm

  37. April Loughnan on April 3, 2022 at 7:51 pm

My series 3 does not track my exercise correctly. I go on a 30 min walk and it tracks 15 min…. Is there something that I can do to get it to sync properly?

  47. SaraEff on April 3, 2022 at 8:02 pm

Hi, i just received my apple watch series 6 a few weeks ago but it doesnt show the step counts, but the roll instead. Please help.

  48. Lindsey Voong on April 3, 2022 at 8:03 pm

I’m sure the fitness app used to be free? Is it now a subscription service??

  49. Sir on April 3, 2022 at 8:04 pm

Had a series 5 had problems recording workout and movement. Sold it, thought the series 7 might have fixed this. Nope 👎. First workout, only counted half and had to start new workouts to finish the 25 minutes of what was actually 45 minutes. And the movement hardly budged. This was outdoor walking.

  50. ZAVM on April 3, 2022 at 8:04 pm

So for some reason my Apple Watch is showing me move minutes instead of calories for the red ring. Do you know how to change that?
