Thank you for this sir! I’ve been using LoseIt app and now I think I’m ready to upgrade š„°
lose it all the way itās so good
Myfitnesspal is currently asking for $239.88/yr or $20/month. Even with the "67% Savings" offer (I assume this is for new users), it is WAY too much money. They’re out of their damn mind.
Thank you very much. This has been very helpful in providing me with a smooth introduction to my weight loss journey.
I was recently treated for a potassium deficiency, so would like to be able to track that nutrient. Is potassium tracking included with the paid version of Lose it?
I have my fitness pal premium but I will not renew. it really pissed me off they removed the free scanning.i’m doing my research to replace my fitness pal. I like carb manager and lose it the best so far.
Thank you for breaking that down so concisely and CLEARLY. Its so hard to decide on things you’re unfamiliar with until someone like you does the work and relays the info. So helpful! Thanks!!
I agree with you the UI design so much better in Lose it. I can track my steps automatically from the Apple Watch but it does not sync Strength work outs.
Super helpful video, thank you! I just made the switch.
Just changed to the lose it! App! The MyFitnessPal nonsense of getting rid of the scanner ruined it for me. I love it and they gave me 50% off for the year (only $20!!) so worth!
Due to MyFitnessPal removing the barcode scanner Iāve been using LoseIt. I am really enjoying LoseIt. Probably going to upgrade
Lose it is also cheaper, but I wish that it integrated more exercise plans/routines like you see in MFP
Lose it is better to me. The premium version has a lifetime option. Not having a barcode scanner free is a dealbreaker for me. I use a hidrate spark water bottle so I track in that app anyway and it writes to apple health and lose it. Also I like that lose it has an iPhone widget for macros since I care more about that than calories
I also noticed that my fitness pal is kind of slow on my phone. The lose it app works faster for my phone.
Can we compare the meal scanning feature on both? Which is more accurate/helpful ?
One of the things I don’t like about MFP is I think its UK based because a ton of foods come up in the search that are in grams and I find that so annoying to have to weed through them to find USA measurements. Correct me if I’m wrong. Even if I do the drop down, many just have grams and that’s it.
NOTE (and another reason to choose MyFitnessPal when it comes to Reason #3 at 2:54): Lose It! requires a premium subscription to connect to devices like Fitbit and Garmin.
