This is such a BS useless segment. The entire cholesterol scare is a complete red-herring. There is nothing wrong with eating egg yolks and measuring cholesterol has now essentially been debunked. Statin drugs to "reduce cholesterol" have been shown to add about 5 days to your lifespan, reduce cardiac risk by a few percentage, but increase your chance of getting cancer.

This is a direct result of the sugar lobby demonizing salt. The plant lobby demonizing animal products (such as cheese, butter, dairy and meat), and useless labelling on food packaging that lists cholesterol when it has no bearing on heart health. If you really want to improve your risk of CV disease, start taking Vitamin K2, as it is deficient in 97% of North Americans.

Avocados are healthy, but these useless studies by the American Heart Association do nothing for the average consumer. Note that the AHA has been in the back pockets of the vegetable oil lobby (think margarine, vegetable and canola oil, and plant-based meat substitutes) since they started accepting huge donations from big food industry in the 50s.

If you really want to improve your health, cut carbs and starches, , cut out any foods that contain canola and vegetable oils. You’ll be shocked how little at the grocery store is actually safe to eat.
What a fluff piece of useless news.

Every time i see Avocados at the market, there always close to a buck each. They always sit there and rot because more folks do not want to pay so much for them. So they rot in the bin and normally get tossed out. So they should sell them for at least 50 cents each and then they wont just sit there and rot. I could never understand the logic of the markets asking so much for them. A lower price will bring in more money then if they just sit and rot.

take a fish oil capsule a day, it’s cheaper than an avocado a day.  This is absurd and somewhat deceptive.

Always eat Tostadas with Avocado. Delicious combination.
It’s not rocket science, eat more fruits & vegetables, you get healthier.
