There are some key secrets to maintaining youthful energy as we age. Movement or exercise – it can be yoga, pilates, walking, running, biking, whatever gets your body moving is key. That combined with some basic strength training is important as we continue to lose muscle mass as we age if we do nothing. We want to make sure we maintain the right mindset. Meditation and the desire to keep learning is a great way to keep our minds working. Nutrition of course is also a key component to healthy aging. Less sugar, more real food. Tons of fruits and vegetables will help your bodies not only obtain the nutrients they need, but it will also give you the energy you need to maintain an active lifestyle.
