I don’t really get the portion sizes measuring method. I mean – so how exactly I should measure the portion on avocado? Is it more like a slice of avo the size of my thumb or rather is it about grams?

What would be your suggestion with regards to having a 5 person household. One person is 6ft6 with a very active appetite, and another being a 13 year old boy who is ravenous 99% of the day. They want stodgy, filling and large meals. I am more incline to eat healthily, as is my Daughter and toddler. Xx

I went through this stages too…😤😰.. when I was younger. At 47 now I think I kind of figured it out . It all starts with self love. Food becomes you the moment you consume it. If you love your body why would you want to put something bad in it ?
Also working as a pharmacist helped me to notice the direct correlation between food and diseases. So you can also see it as an investment in your own body. You invest in your future self. You don’t want to be sick and helpless. It’s Ana amazing feeling to feel good about yourself ❤️💓💕💖🌹🍉🥝🍒🍏🥑🌽🥒🥬

  29. Delaney on July 28, 2022 at 4:06 am

Rachel I have a question, why do you always cut things into big pieces? Lol idk I’m just curious 🙈

  30. Hannah Reidell on July 28, 2022 at 4:07 am

As a college student who lives on campus during the school year, I find it difficult to eat healthy, and I don’t have a lot of time to work out. Are there any tips or suggestions you have?

  31. Rhjean Espero on July 28, 2022 at 4:07 am

This is such a great topic! I love eating and being healthy because I know I will benefit from it for a long time. I love putting either lemon or cucumber or chia seeds (sometimes pink salt) in my water. This is especially important because I’m on a graveyard shift.

And YES it is a must to plan ahead your meal for the week. This is something I look forward to and get excited with. 😊😊😊 Thanks so much for staying with us, Rach, and for loading us with helpful info. I really love the fact about the hand measurement. 😄Keep it up, and stay safe!

Point Seven absolutely resonated with me. When I have a ‘down’ day, I eat something ‘unhealthy’ in an attempt to treat myself. However, I never enjoy it and then so begins a couple of days of ‘punishment’ eating, where I binge on fatty foods. Horrible cycle, but I am trying very hard to break this mentality. Very much appreciate your content xx

  33. Alain Williams on July 28, 2022 at 4:08 am

wow yes! those kale chips are a mood.

  34. ritalyn b on July 28, 2022 at 4:12 am

I am not a fan of meal prepping as I don’t like leftovers or reheated food. So I cook supper fresh every evening, regardless of what is going on in my schedule. I do keep my meals simple, preferring roasted meat with steamed veggies with spices & olive oil. Simple & quick, but tasty!

  35. Violet Valentina on July 28, 2022 at 4:12 am

    Best content on youtube tbh

Hi Rachel, I’ve been following for years and have your book. I love your 20 Essential Items for the particular season but what about athletic wear, loungewear, or sleepwear. I’m curious to know what the minimalistic approach to these other items like how many sports bras are enough? How many pairs of socks?
