    One thing I realize I like that you don’t do is beat up on medical doctors. Doctors in the USA , are not meant to be our nutritional advisors. A lot a Americans do not understand this point. Also , most ppl think big industry should not sell bad foods. Don’t buy them if you think this. Weird concept , eh!

    Those books are great. Would also recommend Deep Nutrition by Dr. Cate Shanahan, The Big Fat Surprise by Nina Teicholtz, and Mitochondria and the Future of Medicine by Lee Know, ND. The last one is not technically a nutrition book but does address how burning fat rather than sugar is better for your mitochondria, preventing or reversing many diseases.

    Good solid list Kait, I really need to do some reading 🤓
    Coming from the BB world, my first intro to low carb was the Anabolic diet by dr. Mauro Di Pasquale, basically a cyclical keto diet and ‘Unleashing the Wild Physique: Ultimate Bodybuilding for men and women’ where you discover the Steak and eggs diet by Vince Gironda. 💪

    One book that is missing from this list is ‘The Fat of the Land’ by Vilhjalmur Stefansson, an arctic explorer’s story living among the people of Alaska. I recommend it, very interesting. 😉
