This is such good advice because restrictive diets cause people to fail a lot and if done wrong can be damaging in the long run. Your way made sure the body gets all the nutrients it needs. Sending love!❤

I dont eat a lot because i feel depressed but i always have dinner everyday that is often a meat dinner eith some veg and carbs. Watching your video inspires me to want to try and be healthier and eat 3 meals a day instead of just one or 2. Hopefully I can do it.

  3. Helen Moran on June 8, 2023 at 2:21 pm

    500 carbs

When you’re allergic to most fruits and allergic to all nuts
    “mmm yea totally”

I watched this last summer and this January I had a referral to talk to a dietitian because my A1C went up again and put me in the prediabetes range, and when I told her I struggle to keep my carbs down she told me to make sure I never ate carbs by themselves, always add protein and fiber sources. So I remembered your video and it clicked, and despite not being able to keep my carbs intake down, I still brought my A1C down .2 in 3 months and my dietitian was very happy that I was able to focus on the adding to my meals to balance it out.

So say you don’t like milk… what’s the other option here?

  10. Janette Lugo on June 8, 2023 at 2:31 pm

    Thank you 🩷

  11. Jxliaa on June 8, 2023 at 2:31 pm

Its good but its about sugars, thay bowl of cereal might already ring to your daily intake

  12. Natasha Thomas on June 8, 2023 at 2:32 pm

Great advice in theory but unfortunately you just trippled the price of a bowl of cereal and with the rising price of groceries, most of us can’t afford to add without taking something away.

  13. Emm. on June 8, 2023 at 2:32 pm

    Worst advice ever heard!

  14. Ms. Ann Thropic on June 8, 2023 at 2:32 pm

“I should really stop eating carbs” is a line of BS I am so sick of hearing 🙄
No, you need carbs, they’re our bodies main source of energy, you just shouldn’t eat mostly/only carbs.
People just want a quick fix/easy answer to weight loss though.

(I know she’s not saying this, I’m just commenting on how common that type of thinking is.)

  15. Kendall Toth on June 8, 2023 at 2:34 pm

Ok but can you do a cheese burger?

It’s easy to overcomplicate what a healthy diet can look like when we’re constantly being told to eliminate almost every food that we enjoy. Instead of focusing on what to restrict, let’s focus on what we can add.

My #1 goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle by helping people make sustainable and realistic changes that are rooted in balance and satisfaction. Contrary to popular belief, dietitians don’t eat a “perfect” diet free of processed foods, non-organic foods, and non-GMO foods – nor do we need to. The goal isn’t to perfect the diet by eliminating all “unhealthy foods”, but to make a healthy lifestyle (a lifestyle that makes you feel happy, energized, and nourished) work for you!

Stop subtracting and start adding ❤️

With all that makes it looks like throwup.

  18. Kelly Lemon on June 8, 2023 at 2:38 pm

I want to absorb all of these videos!

  19. Vanessa B on June 8, 2023 at 2:42 pm

OMG! I love this dietitian! Seriously the last dietitian I went to, said: eat an egg for breakfast, a chicken leg for lunch, and an apple for a nighttime snack. I was like huh???

can you talk about balancing a vegan diet without eating soy all the time? i’ve been underweight my whole life and just switched to vegan/semi pescatarian and i want to fully transition to vegan but it seems like all the foods i want to eat are only good for losing weight

  22. zprxmels on June 8, 2023 at 2:45 pm

This!! It’s so refreshing to see dietitians talking about how a healthy diet doesn’t mean less food, instead you should be adding to your meals not taking away from them. Calories and carbs are your body’s biggest source of energy which will keep you going throughout the day, don’t deprive yourself of that 💗

  23. Blake Poole-Cook on June 8, 2023 at 2:46 pm

As a person who struggles with being too thin and having an unhealthy relationship with food your videos inspire me. Thank you please keep making these. ❤

  24. Ms. Ann Thropic on June 8, 2023 at 2:47 pm

You can also have your cereal with yogurt instead of milk if you want to go for even more protein and a bit of a different experience.

Instructions unclear: I just added a cow into my roast beef sandwich

  26. Officially me on June 8, 2023 at 2:48 pm

I know that cereal got soggy.

  27. Ella Keen on June 8, 2023 at 2:48 pm

Can you recommend some books to start understand food and health and hormones and things? Feel like it’s a bit of a minefield 😬 thank you 🙂

  28. Topaz May Memory on June 8, 2023 at 2:50 pm

My dietitian stated by taking away my carbs and sugar. And i miss good bread so much. Im so limited to the sugar free foods i can eat because im allergic to stevia. I wish she had started with this. Instead of swapping my safe foods for inferior versions.

  29. AnnaSophia on June 8, 2023 at 2:52 pm

I appreciate this meal is healthier as it contains more nutrients, but as someone who is looking to lower their body fat percentage as well as eat healthier, this seems counter intuitive as the meal at the end has a higher calorie count than the first one. This would make it a worse option for losing fat/weight? How would you add things to you diet and still achieve this goal of losing fat/weight?

  30. Powfuu on June 8, 2023 at 2:56 pm

The cereal is soggy after all that talking nooooo

  31. Dark Mage on June 8, 2023 at 2:56 pm

These AI bots are getting better. She looks very realistic.

  32. lazyhippie on June 8, 2023 at 2:57 pm

I add blueberries and flaxseed to my oatmeal, then have a high protein side (like peanuts, beans, or… well, vegan chicken nuggets lol). It’s balanced and great for energy.

  33. Run You Fool on June 8, 2023 at 2:57 pm

These tips are pretty useful when you’re living alone and just cook for yourself. Thank you so much for these brilliant tips. Also, she passed the vibe check, folks. Milk after cereal gang for life!

I totally love this! Add not subtract!

  37. Alex on June 8, 2023 at 3:00 pm

I believe that carbs in a moderate amount are not unhealthy, contrary to some people’s belief, so I don’t get why you mentioned carbs in this specific example.

  38. Kiah on June 8, 2023 at 3:02 pm

But my problem has always been that I start ok then through the day a switch flips and I either want to eat nothing or I want to find every snack I can get my hands on and eat all of it.

  39. Lily on June 8, 2023 at 3:02 pm

Tbh I don’t like cereal with anything at all so whenever I do this I have everything separated Evan the milk. 😅

  40. ellie on June 8, 2023 at 3:06 pm

I want to improve my diet but I’ve had to end up using a subscription box plan because groceries are so expensive. And then for the days of eating while waiting for the newest box, I have no idea what to make or eat because the store is so far away already… It’s hard to consistently eat better when you’re rural.

  41. her on June 8, 2023 at 3:07 pm

but what if you really need to loose weight ? maybe your not lacking anything

  42. Real Kyraful 🫶🏽 on June 8, 2023 at 3:08 pm

I only like eating honey bunches of oats and adding extra granola 😋

  43. Becky Desiree on June 8, 2023 at 3:09 pm

This is why I wrap my ham and lettuce twinkies.
    Baby, carbs, protein, and fibre

  44. Clank gang on June 8, 2023 at 3:11 pm

So cereal (sugar) + milk (disaccharide sugar) + fruits (fructose – sugar) + some walnuts and seeds. It will quickly spike your insulin and you’ll be hungry within an hour.

  45. M o r o n on June 8, 2023 at 3:11 pm

That looks so expensive though 😭😭😭

  46. Emm. on June 8, 2023 at 3:15 pm

Do you know how dangerous this cereal is. Read the ingredients

  47. melchior lise on June 8, 2023 at 3:15 pm

Ultra processed foods, that’s what you should worry about. Not the nature of the foods.

  48. someone you dont know on June 8, 2023 at 3:16 pm

FINALLY someone gets it eating healthy doesn’t always mean to eat less! I dont want to lose weight personally i just want to be healthy! Im at my average body weight “perfect” body weight for my height but i dont eat healthy and still dont gain weight! If i started to eat the way some of these “healthy food influencers” do/recommend i would be severely underweight! Im glad at least someone just help you eat healthier than you normally do and not promote weight loss and tiny unrealistic portions and talk about calories all the time.

  49. B on June 8, 2023 at 3:16 pm

That’s kind of how I grew up eating in school, since the cafeterias followed the food groups. I noticed it kept me full until the next meal.
I’ve been doing this lately, and it does work. It’s best with full on meals. Can be used with snacks (only smaller), though not necessary.

  50. Thicc Senpai on June 8, 2023 at 3:17 pm

But it’s so frustrating when you’re poor 🙁 healthy eating can get so expensive
