So people who have high cholesterol 280 or higher should still have a high fat /high cholesterol diet? I weigh 98lbs 5’2” and am very athletic. I have genetically high cholesterol is statin unnecessary even when I have blocked aorta ? Can I eat a animal fatty diet? Should I stop taking statin and just live a normal life?

I meant to comment on another video but what I really refuse to believe is that fruit is not that good for you and we should limit it ..I know people who just eat fruit and they have the best blood work ..no matter what anyone says I’ll never believe fruit is the same as other sugar

Hi, love your presentation, and the videos have clear structure! There’s a couple points I have a problem with:
GMO by itself doesn’t really mean anything, other than it is genetically modified. Basically every crop that is sold for human consumption is in todays’s world genetically modified. GMO doesn’t specify the means which the genetic information has been altered with. For example, banana is really, really heavily refined from its original almost ineatible state, and that has been done with humans manipulating. Of course, some manipulations may cause nagative effects in SOME people, but I think it is not wise to rule them out as a whole, but encourage people to seek out a professional to help them with possible health effects individually.
MSG has been pretty much proven safe when consumed in sufficient amounts, meaning you don’t eat a whole cup in one sitting. Larger doses may cause minor symptoms in a small fraction of people, but the glutamate-receptors work by the same mechanic that for example sugar-receptors do, meaning they just cause neurotransmissions to occur when the receptor is irritated.
Caffeine can boost your activity, espesially for bodybuilders it can improve their productivity and performance, but it is fair to mention that the human body grows resistant to caffeine, meaning you should not consume caffeine regularly.
Latest studies have had the notion that artificial sweeteners are not particularly bad for your body nor do they cause any severe side effects, if consumed in sufficient quantities, in aspartames case it’s about 4 liters of diet soda in a day, and it still isn’t POISONOUS if you take over that amount, assuming you don’t have diseases that interact poorly wirt aspartame, they just might cause side effects, like increased appetite leading to overeating.
Some of the things I totally agreed with, like the sugars and trans-fats. I think the outlawing of trans-fats is in action and has been for decades, and they might be illegal to sell in coming years hopefully. Love from Finland!

How do they know artificial sweetener is a neurotoxins? Do they take nerves out of a person’s body that has never had artificial sweeteners, put them in a petri dish, feed the nerves a solution containing sweeteners, and watch what happens?

I’m not avoiding fat free/low fat yogurts and other foods. It’s not because were "afraid of fat" its because those products contain excess calories

I read an article recently about pork lard. It is processed by rendering to a liquid and then that hot liquid is filtered then canned with a pressure cooker. The result is snow white lard that can be used in cooking.

Good grief! Glutamic acid is a protein marker and is present in lots of raw food ingredients. While we cannot taste protein, we can taste various salts of glutamic acid. When it is cooked with sodium ions from any source, it will form a salt called mono sodium glutamate. Last I heard, Chinese restaurant syndrome (which I suffered from back in the 1970s), was not actually caused by mono sodium glutamate, but by impurities in some commercial MSG.
I asked Bing about the relationship between artificial sweeteners and neurotoxins. Here’s what it said. I couldn’t find any specific tests that are used to determine if artificial sweeteners are neurotoxins. However, a study has raised the possibility that artificial sweeteners in diet beverages may increase the risk of dementia and stroke1. Researchers analyzed health data from nearly 3,000 adults who had filled out diet surveys and determined their incidence of stroke or dementia over 10 years1. While the risk of stroke or dementia was higher among those consuming diet soft drinks, only about 3% of the studied population had strokes and about 5% developed dementia1.

I am retireed from the U.S. A. Air Force and United Airlines aviation, but started life in 1941 with dyslexia. I successfully studied Physiology, Anatomy, and Biology at Lincoln High School in Lincoln Heights (East Los Angeles, California, USA). in 1955. My partner of 25 yeas studied Nutrition at CSUSacrmento, that introduced me to her Japanses-American culture and diet that balanced my education. Now 2032, and 82, this program and another, about, " What to eat," are reinforcing what I already do as a healthy old man with Parkinson’s disease, and a few other health issues: failing eyesight, arthritus, etc. In Air Force Aircrew Survival School (1977), we learned to drink a gallon of water a day, and eat off the land, bugs, plants, but only jerky meat. I do not smoke (and have not since I was 23); because of neuropothy, I quit drinking whisky and other spirits (it is not the "water of life" as Burnsians advise); I do not drink but a glass of wine or beer a day, and in spite of authritus and Parkinson’s, I walk 3 kilometers a day, with a cane. Evey other day I lift 4 kilogram (about 9 pounds) dumbells, in sets of 15 x 6, shoulder-upper body, in a self-physical therepy routine. My mother gave me Parkinson’s, but my father gave me a strong heart. The point: get educated (so your children can follow these programs), live like a Buddhist (so religion does not give them false beliefs of an afterlife), and stay out of dangerous situations (such as life in cities that exploit the American Constitution to create danger in the cities and counties!). I’d love to know how old you are Sten. I believe typical signs of aging is an indication you are not doing something right for your body. I’m 54, I don’t have wrinkles, gray hair, and I’m not balding, so if you’re in your late sixties then you’re looking fine. I think stress is the most damaging thing for your body. After that, sugar, trans fats, and too much carbs. I believe listening to your body is the key. Give it what it wants, and stay away from anything that’s man made. Your body needs different things on different days, it changes with the weather and the seasons. Sometimes fasting is better, sometimes eating a lot is good, sometimes you might need more vegetables, sometimes more meat, and sometimes you might crave carbohydrates. I even believe that sometimes having a glass of wine or having a cigar to relax is better than trying to deal with stress, if it helps then it’s good. I know you’re against that, but if you think any kind of medication is good for you, then you can’t say alcohol or tobacco isn’t. Any kind of poison is bad for you in excess or if taken regularly. Just my thoughts based on personal experience.

What alerted me to the fakery of food industry was ‘Ribena’. I calculated it contained around 3-6 black currents per glass of drink. Effectively none whatsoever. But proudly kept in the chiller and displayed as an expensive health food.

You paint with too broad a brush. Ya know what’s in my low-fat yogurt? Yogurt and fruit pectin. No chemicals. No added sugar. Nothing bad. And fruit pectin has antioxidant, anti-inflamatory, and anti-cancer properties.
You say, "If nature put the fat there, then it was a good fat." Uh, you’ve heard of heart disease and stroke, right? There’s a reason some people want to reduce their saturated fat intake. I mean, sugar is natural — how about we just load up on sugar?
Your simplistic generalizations are misleading and do not encourage people to read labels and to truly understand the effects of what they’re eating. Frankly, it’s irresponsible to tell people that a food is good just because It’s natural. The devil is in the details, and you should use your platform to educate people on those details.

Can i use organic honey in my black coffee instead of sweeteners, is organic honey ok.
Imagine nursing homes feeding these exact BAD foods with no reprucussions. I have lived in 2 nursing homes that serve these poisonous foods. every meal. There are a lot of sick people here. I told them I wanted to be served organic and raw. It took them quite a while to send me salads. That would be iceberg with carrots on top and non organic salad dressings. I sent those back and finally they sent some dark leafy greens with carrots on top covered with saran wrap and put in a cold fridge. Everything about it was cold and flat, so I rejected it. In Texas, after medicaid and the nursing home takes care of the finances I am left with $60 a month to buy myself some decent fruits and nuts and veggies. $60 is not enough. They display a form called Residents Rights on the wall but they don’t follow the rules.
The nutritionist said there was no basis for the foods I was talking about. She did not want to talk to me and walked out the door agitated. Her resistance tells me that these poisonous foods are being served on purpose to keep the people sick. I have listened to a lot of people talking about genocide on this earth. Serving poisonous foods on purpose keeps people sick for a long time.
My feet and legs are swollen. Metabolic acidosis is the main label. Too much acid in my blood. How do I talk this nursing home into serving everyone decent, non poisonous foods?
