NEW TO ME?
Hi I’m Rich Roll. I’m a vegan ultra-endurance athlete, author, podcaster, public speaker & wellness evangelist at large. But mainly I’m a dad of four. If you want to know more, the NY Times wrote some nice things:

first 4 min of the video, the two are geeking about ultra sport events.. while i am starting to adapt to my 5km run.. so jealous but yet driven to be at their place one day… hopefully soon.
01:15:43 Yeah. You are going to win. Everybody is a winner and only 99% are poor.
The Day or Two of training you "missed" could be exactly what you need.
01:16:00 admit you are poor and have to scam people to stop being poor. It is your fault if you don’t do it.
59:18 program has to be individual. Like equipment has to mold to you and not vice versa. and if you can’t afford that when you are poor. You exiled from pretend society.
Lol zone 2!
58:50 That’s not entirely true.
This episode is the best talk about training I have ever listened.
Priceless training knowledge long term. Thank you
55:00 Poor people can’t eat properly and can’t sleep properly. But who cares. poor people are expandable.
ОЛЕГ Захаров папина квартира фотограф так говорит мой Facebook
01:07:38 Who cares by now… poor people can’t afford too look into it.
That was real – thanks Mr Roll
57:50 Be naive wave like you suppose to be… support the pro’s support the investors. Support +10:1 ROI. That’s your job because you are poor.
I really like the meaning reading!
Despite the fact that
I am not kind of
“sport spirit person”
this talk is amazing
and inspirational
on so many level.
Thank You Rich.
Big fan of Your podcast.
Love.
I really like the meaning reading!
Time with nature is essential!!!
After 5 minutes of jibberish, I had to stop watching. Additionally, you California people? Are impossible to listen to? Because every statement you make? Ends with your pitch going higher? So every statement you make? Sounds like a question? Knock that crap off!
57:00 Is not a fucking excuse. They are smart. Why would you train with broken equipment? If you can’t afford it because it is your fault you are poor. Because you weren’t able to scam people with +10:1 ROI.
Super informative, Thanks.
Now I’m speculating this damed lower leg and feet pain is from running in the "grey zone" a lot so my ligaments and joints weren’t properly conditioned, and the cold stretching I’ve been doing to help them is probably causing micro tears..alas
“Not getting caught up in the gear…”
Just go.
Since a lot of people enjoyed the "Meaning" essay, I uploaded a video of it today. Everyone welcome to watch it, replay it, share it, it’s amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMrX9MhimG0
I really like the meaning reading!
Time with nature is essential!!!
40:50 If you came here for ZONE 2! (low HR training information)
01:10:53 running on pavement is a hell of a nature.
Is it just me or does Chris look like Matthew McConaughey?
🙏🏽💞🙏🏽
I don’t even think I blinked for the entire podcast….best 1 1/2 hours I’ve spent sitting in a chair ever….thank you….
Absolutely agree with Chris on this stuff. I MUST get outside and push myself on a regular basis: No gym, or indoor-trainer can replace getting out on the open road, or mountain track, for me! I too believe that it’s part of us! We are part of nature! Too many, sadly, feel separate from nature: It’s somewhere they ‘go’. Until more realise that we, as a species, are part of everything; the world/ environment/ peoples’ health, will continue to decline…. Great Podcast, Rich. Your book ‘Finding Ultra’ which I first read several years back, put me on the road to a plant-based lifestyle. After a few ‘false starts’ I’m finally there and feel awesome! Thanks 🙂
If you train 8 hours a week or less you might as well go full gas. 80% Zone 2 is for the 15, 20, 30 hour people.
01:11:53 It is unnatural to work in a cubicle but We live in a pretend society and everything is ok!
Nice to know that the glory comes through zone 2 and comforting.
I just watched the replay of this podcast. It was a great one. Just what I needed. Thanks for all the great insight.
👏
01:01:55 This is the roids you are looking for…
01:27:50 Especially poor people. They are the best kind of useful athletes supporting investors & co scam business.
Good stuff. And with the way the world is at the moment. Endurance events, outdoors and the sense of purpose adventure gives us is all more important and therefore to keep inspiring
Loved the interview….but, wow, he sounds like Willem Dafoe.
thanks for teaching me, this video filmed 2 years ago its what i´m needing now.
right can someone help me out here 0:13 there’s a face and I can’t put my finger on her name
01:12:45 how many poor people can do Kona?
Another epic session Rich! Well done fellas! Thank You!!
Zone 2 is just jogging… Its hilarious the fancy terminology people give things to make others think they’re experts.. BTW Chris Hauth charges $400 month and requires a 6 month minimum commitment if you want him as you “coach” LOL
awesome
The quizzical wallet cosmetically unpack because almanac angiographically pine toward a sudden shop. fine, domineering banjo
My formula is " 90% RED BULL AND 10% Sleep"
57:10 Yeah it doesn’t matter if you wear garbage or wrong shoes. Injuries or micro injuries… who cares. you are poor. Just let the scam business thrive like it suppose to. Adapt to your equipment… you are poor. support the pro’s. support the investors. They are important, you are not.
01:04:58 This is the roids you are looking for…
01:01:25 you could prevent that. and yes it doesn’t mean it is calf… but it doesn’t matter you can’t afford to check on it because you are poor.
Another awesome RRP
