Why I Chose NCI for my NUTRITION COACHING CERTIFICATION | Comparing Top Programs
I spent months choosing the right nutrition coaching certification program, and it was much more difficult than I anticipated! I looked at ACE, NASM, ISSA, Precision Nutrition, IIN (Institute of Integrative Nutrition), and NCI, and I walk you through my thought process and give you my general impressions of each. After hearing the interview with Jason Phillips on Mind Pump and doing some investigation, I ended up choosing NCI and shed some light on their level 1 certification program and my experience so far.

Hi Laura, I signed up but turns out they double charged me and they have been unresponsive yet. They don’t respond to any of my mails, messages nothing. It’s a lot of money so I probably have to get my bank involved for a dispute. Is this a common issue with NCI ?

I just finished the ISSA nutrition certificate and I did not like it. It doesn’t give any pratical scenario and how to apply what you learned. I feel lost.

Hi Laura, Thanks for this review. I want to ask, Do you recommend NCI for someone who’s a beginner and has little knowledge about Nutrition? I saw that the NCI Level 1 program is just a 2-days course. I’m not sure if I can learn and start coaching after that 2-day course. Is it possible? Or they only offer it for people who’re working with clients already? Really don’t know how the program will run. Thanks😊

Have been trying to find more about the cost of level 1… no luck! Got a call with one of their sales rep this weekend. Doing this for both finding out what the heck I do wrong and guide other men’s to be in better shape (cherry on top would be to become location independent)

Have you found any other nutrition certs with the level of application that Jason puts in the curriculum?
Have you found anyone else in the game that reminds you of Jason Phillips? His articulation of concepts and ability to introduce that applicable carryover is something I have yet to find in someone else.
Does anyone know anything about the Health Mastery Institute? They seem to be smaller than others, and there isn’t too much information out there.

Hey Laura, great video. I came acros your video because I am also looking for nutrition certification and this has been of great help. NCI sounds like a great option. Do you think I will be eligible to do this course? I am in africa and I am not even a English native speaker ( Spainsh is my native language) but guess my English is not that bad. I know I can afford the course but not sure if this is just for U.S citizens. Any idea? Thanks.

Spent 10K on NCI and BCI, wasn’t my thing, didn’t even get certified and they said no refunds🙃

Great video, thanks. I’m currently getting cert for PT through NASM, but looking into nutrition coach as additional supplement as it seems most need additional cert for additional $. Do you recommend that I take NCI concurrently or is it best to wait until after PT cert? Thanks again.
