I’ve been having this going on for 2 years started eating more recently started to feel the pump come back increased my workouts now I feel like shit again I do full body 3x a week hardcardio I love doing cardio but I’m guessing eat more less cardio?
I have all these symptoms 🙁
great info! my cortisol is through the roof right now… I just got back into the gym after 3-4 years, and went back in the gym on god mode. This was a bad decision as I was not giving my body enough time to heal from the workouts, and as a result my cortisol levels went up.
I started taking extra rest days, and eating a bit more *I was eating 500-1000 below maintenance, but upped calorie intake* to hopefully curb the increase of cortisol/balance my hormones. For the first 4 weeks of getting back into the gym focus on nutrition/sleep/recovery as going all out will hurt your gains…. until body realizes that working out is the new normal again.
Thanks for the great video.
Brilliant video, also… f*ck! 🤣
I dont want to believe the "eat more, train less" piece… but you mentioned literally every symptoms that I’ve been feeling during my fat loss journey
Wow just wow, mindpump is spitting gospel
Wish I could like this video more than once
I recommend a step tracker and doing ur best to eat back calories from exercise
CrossFit isn’t healthy
Every warning sign he laid out I have been living with for years. Thank you for this information
My brain has programmed my hand to feed my mouth once a day ONLY and I’m lucky if i can get 800 cals in a day. I wouldn’t even know how to eat more food unless it could be injected into my stomach. I workout 4 days week but my body will not release the weight. I’m a prisoner in my own body.
I honestly never thought what I’m dealing with right now is related to overtraining. I’m so glad this video was suggested to me and now everything makes sense!! I’m giving this channel a follow
Great Podcast, recovery is just as important as your workouts.
How do we figure out hormone profile?
This is one of the best podcasts I’ve heard in a long time. Way to go guys.
What about extended fasting? Studies have shown it raises BMI and speed up metabolism.

Der Rest war RNA 0,00797% (6 ng).there is no Virus, it is the injection http://www.orwell.city/2021/06/covid-19-is-caused-by-graphene-oxide.html Pharma gibt ihr Geld ?!o

Great video. Mentally I dont like it, but I need to eat more to recover better. Needs over wants!
Always love when you guys feature Jason. He knows how to communicate and distill information so excellently and is the perfect complement to Sal’s ability to do this. Overtraining and undereating is so common and has messed me up so much. I think that you should do another video podcast about adrenal fatigue/insufficiency now that gyms are re-opening because people are going to be going to extremes to lose the pandemic poundage. I tell all my friends about MindPump and have bought your programs.
Been there done that. Trouble is, when you’re goal oriented and really determined for a result, nobody can tell you you’re doing it wrong. You have to hit the wall and learn the hard way. Still suffering some of the effects of doing all of this ten years later. I don’t sweat anymore; I think I fried my nervous system. Whatever you do, take care of your body. You only get one.
now i know why i cant lose weight and my sleeps gone down . thanks man . and i wondered why my bodybuilding days i was leaner. too much cardio!!
Adrenal fatigue isn’t actually a thing. There is no evidence that it actually exists as a medical condition. Stop spreading pseudoscientific bullshit.
Eat lots of carbs if you train alot. It will turn your body into a carb and fat burning furnace. This is the way i can do 2 sessions per day, eat loads of food ane still recover well, and loose fat at the same time. This is how top athletes eat.
Insomnia 😑😑😑
I dunno how this video has only had 47,000 views. So many people could relate to this, I’ve watched is 4 or 5 times since it was uploaded
Any correlation with keto at all here
"She; and you misspelled him and them.
Thanks, I really enjoy your content!
Iv being going crazy making doctors visits. You guys have just nailed my journey. Any supplements you guys recommend? I’m male, was very muscly and now totally thin. Looking to join the gym again.
The body keeps the score. Great info. I like the swearing. Makes this shit more relatable.
Been eating more with more trainings alongside with CrossFit classes. Need to dial in the sleep.
eat more train less?? don’t works here mate
This is fantastic information that I’ve never heard before. I believe the cursing and "dudes" detract from the message and the speaker’s authority as an expert. The speaker would benefit from eliminating these.
I’m so guilty of this!
They use all these terms to make it seem like they know what they’re talking! They’re the reason why so many people are out of shape. They make it sound so complicated when it is a simple as consistently moving your ass! The guy to the right use alot of profanity to be an fitness expert! There is no way that you’re doing Cardio for an hour, and not losing weight! Bs
51 lifting 3 days a week no cardio high protein gains showing.
Glad I found this information. Originally I starting a weight loss program on November 1, 2020 using dumb bells, stationary bike and yard work. I dropped 23 lbs in 14 weeks. I started having all of the exact same symptoms 4 weeks ago. I have 15 more pounds to lose. Time to change it up. Thank you
WAIT- some one finally answered my question after ages! I’ve been yo-yo dieting for so many years and at the end of last year I crashed! Every single time I dieted, my adrenal fatigue would show up. I was sleeping poorly, thyroid issues, hair loss, muscle and joint pain, anxiety, depression, binge eating, slow metabolism basically ALL of the symptoms of Adrenal Fatigue/metabolic damage. Now, I’ve been reverse dieting and I gained fat. I’m currently over weight by 20-30 lbs. The thing that I wanted to say was that every time I cut calories too low (700 below maintenance) my heart starts palpitations because of what this guy talked about NERVE ADAPTATIONS.
I defs don’t eat enough.
This was so helpful and reaffirming.🙏🙏🙏
I’m an amateur boxer and I remember a few months during the first wave of covid I was prepping hard for the season however as soon as lockout came I was forced on to a short break, however during that short break my athleticism crashed immediately, my body refused to do a single pushup, or run at my previous capacity. However when I got into boxing that affect reversed immediately, I could run my previous time, do pushups, and regain my athleticism
Valuable fucking info!! I train Muay Thai/MMA 5 days a week, few hours a night. Also adding weights again 3-4x a week. I’ve been smarter in my approach, but hearing early on set signs for burning out was very good to hear. I notice a lot of these symptoms at times but would always struggle to pinpoint where these issues stemmed from.
I found this video today and everything you describe is me. I’ve been researching adrenal fatigue and learned yesterday that having your left kidney removed instead of the right one for donation to my brother shuts down the adrenal gland on that side. It explains so much as the endocronlogist keep changing my thyroid meds and nothing improves. I have Hashimoto’s, too.
I used to work out hard on very little sleep for years and continued after the kidney operation and began to get chronic exaustion. I’m beginning to learn why now. 🙁
Thanks for this video.
Great content and straight to the facts! Thank you guys!!!
Brilliant
I been training real dumb
This happened to me.
My routines became and more intense and my calories didn’t adjust accordingly, so my maintenance became 2000 calories at 184 lbs and I was working out 6 days a week.
I didn’t know what was happening, so this wasn’t the best approach, but I lowered by 250 and did that until I got down to 15% bf. Once I did that I increased to fine maintenance and I had to keep increasing because my metabolism was returning. I’m currently 173 and am eating 2100 and increasing each time I lose. I want to be as heavy as I can at 15% bf. If I go over, I immediately drop down just a little to get back to 15% and then start the process over of increasing. I did make it to 2250 before but gained a little on my waist, so I started over. Right now I just know maintenance is somewhere between 2050 and 2250. I will keep doing this until my body settles in and I get my true maintenance.
I sleep better, have better sex, am stronger, have a better metabolism and don’t have issues with my cortisol like before. My SHBG and free test were low, but they are slowly returning to normal.
I am going to make sure this never happens again because it’s absolute hell to deal with, especially when you have no clue what’s going on. More is not better, so please do not kill yourself in the gym or you will pay for it. Do just enough to stimulate, not annihilate and then get your ass out of the gym and eat enough calories to rebuild.
How can I ask my question on your podcast?
Thanks for info. Hope my wife listens now
Thank you for this episode! 2 years in and I can’t seem to push past my current plateau. This video is super informative with the clear signs to look out for…… now to figure out where to go from here to start fixing my system!
