How to get healthy without dieting | Darya Rose | TEDxSalem
Darya discusses how psychology impacts our ability to create healthy eating habits. Darya is a neuroscientist, author and popular blogger who has trained her sights and talents on solving the age-old problem of eating healthy and losing weight.
Her holistic approach to food and health is a breath of fresh air compared to the stuffy supermarket shelves of diet shakes and appetite suppressants.
After receiving her BA in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley, Darya received her PhD from UC San Francisco and writes about food, health and weight loss. Her website ‘Summer Tomato’ was one of TIME’s top 50 websites in 2011 and if social media is any indicator, her message that “life should be awesome” is reaching far and wide.
Darya describes herself as a “foodist”, which is a term for someone who has abandoned dieting to enjoy life using real food and also the name of her book – Foodist: Using Real Food and Real Science to Lose Weight Without Dieting.

Its still surprises me, just how lots of people have no idea about Okibetonic Secrets, even though many people get great result with it. Thanks to my cooworker who told me about Okibetonic Secrets, I have lost a ton of weight by using it without starving myself.

Visiting *Agoge Diet* was a life-changing decision. Who would have believe that creating a diet plan is so easy.
I have tried this several times. The only thing is I related to it most of the time as a diet. There was one time I actually related to this as only habits and it was successful until I thought I had to get leaner and more fit (I already looked good!) and went on a diet. A very strict one. It only lasted a week. I haven’t been able to get back into that mindset, and it’s been a year and a half. 😔

A cellular pathway in the brain is stimulated that makes us think of hunger; to suppress the brain cells that make us think of hunger is to drink half teaspoon of ginger in hot water–the size of a regular cup of coffee. Scientifically proven. I just hate hunger and did some research, yep, it works.
I really loved watching this as I always want to stay fit but not compromising my love for Food. Honestly guys cut out caffeine and sugar and see how your body changes. It’s incredible….I mean you can still keep your sugary drinks but cut out any food that has sugar including fruit and after a couple of months or so you reinclude it after sometime.
I was skeptic about *Agoge Diet* because I thought that I would have to eat only broccoli to lose weight. I am eating only food I like and still losing weight.
