Started nursing school last week. Had my first exam today. It was over fundamentals. I got a 72(which is was a fail). This video helped a lot. I didn’t comprehend the info. I memorized it. Thank you for the help.

Does anyone else’s nursing program require an 80% to pass the course? a 79% is a fail. I have my final next week and need an 85% to pass since I only received a 77% and 75% on the first two exams. It sucks if other people can pass their nursing courses with C’s and become nurses. I’m so upset. I didn’t think it would be this hard just to get an 80%. There is just never enough time to go to class and study the lab material, do homework, and find time to read 6-12 chapters. It is insane.

Just passed my HESI today and found this video, as Nursing Fundamentals will be my first class when I start Nursing school. I tend to memorize everything vs comprehension, so thank you for helping me understand the need to change my strategy up prior to getting started.

Love this.getting ready for nursing school. I hear it from every nurse. It’s not the material but the pace and testing that alot of nursing student fail.Also alot of students that go into nursing are straight out of high school dont have no experience what so what ever.

Is fundamentals and health concepts the same? I’m at a community college RN program and our first class is health concepts.
Also a lpn once told me when you take the test all the answers will be right but the answer you should choose is which one will you do first.
